General Platoff Don Cossack Chorus Visits Amsterdam from Gen. Platoff Don Cossack Chorus on Vimeo.
We have recently been able to acquire a copy of the 13 February 1955 episode of Ed Sullivan’s Toast of the Town, in which the General Platoff Don Cossack Chorus is advertised as performing. To our dismay, the choir featured in the episode is the Don Cossack Chorus conducted by S.A. Jaroff, and not the General Platoff Don Cossack Chorus, conducted by N.F. Kostruckoff as advertised.
