Following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in late 1963, Kostruckoff led the chorus to Arlington National Cemetery to pay respects at the grave site of the fallen president. There was no group picture taken, as Kostruckoff thought it would be disrespectful and self-serving to do so. To my knowledge, the photo shown here is the only memento of that occasion:
